Urgent appointments
To request an urgent appointment for today (Monday to Friday):
- Phone us on 0113 2576787, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm (please note our appointments are released at 8am)
- Visit the surgery and speak with a Care Navigator, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
We have a range of appointments available. There are also extended access appointments for services such as Physiotherapy at other local practices.
Routine appointments
To request a routine appointment
- Online via our website Monday to Friday. We will respond within 48 working hours
- Phone us Monday to Friday from 8am-6.30pm
- Visit the surgery and speak with a Care Navigator, Monday to Friday during 8am-6.30pm
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you which may be a service outside of our practice.
Online requests
You can use our online service to raise non-urgent medical requests, or admin requests such as fit (sick) notes.
Your request is sent to us using a system called PATCHs. The system will ask you questions about how you would like help. This is sent to the practice and triaged by our staff. You may get a response through PATCHs, a call or message with information, or you may be offered a telephone or face to face appointment if necessary.

Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- Phone us on 01132576787 between 8am to 6.30pm
- If you are late for an appointment, you may be asked to re-book
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, or by face-to-face
- If you need an interpreter. Please note a family member cannot interpret for you in a consultation.
- If you have any other access or communication needs.
Home visits
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will triage and if suitable will carry out a home visit. We may call you before the visit by telephone to understand your needs in detail.
To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10am.
