Temporary Appointment Changes

As part of our response to the Coronavirus outbreak and in line with current NHS guidance we are changing how we offer appointments to try to reduce the need for patients to visit the practice in person.

From Wednesday 18th March we will:

  • no longer offer the walk in service, you will not be able to book GP appointments in person at the surgery.
  • offer many more appointments to book online
  • provide more telephone consultations

Our appointments will now be released at 8am for the same day and for one week in advance. Some appointments will also be released at 7pm the previous day for online bookings.

If it is appropriate we would recommend that patients request a telephone consultation. Rest assured that if a clinician thinks you need a face to face appointment you will get one!

We have also had to remove the self check blood pressure machine.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but hope that you appreciate the seriousness of the situation and our responsibility to protect patient health.

The situation is changing rapidly, we advise our patients to keep updated regularly from the NHS, and to be careful about what information they shared with friends and family.
